The sun rises from the east and sets in the west,
The same direction she went when the time is best.
Along with it went most my zest and all the rest,
As now my sunshine comes 8 hours late from the west.
Like a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly,
Your metamorphosis gave you wings to fly.
Did i mention you were so pretty at times it made me shy?
Guess its just one of those things that slips me by.
Of marshmellows that reminds me of your smile so warm,
Wonder if you have any over there in your dorm.
It'll surely keep you warm come thunder or snow storm,
Like thick quilt blankets made in candy form.
Most nights without you around is like after glow,
Dim and dull but still time painstakingly flow.
The events that came along i can't really follow,
Those days when i'm not high i'm just down low.
Do take care my sugar my sunshine,
When you succeed they might build you a shrine.
If that happens i'll decorate it with eglantine,
So forget me not come rain come shine.
=)
