The Girl in the Background

.

I saw a picture of a sky filled with balloons of every colour,
And what i didn't notice was the lovely girl at the bottom corner.
See another picture of a gigantic green dragon a few seconds later,
And what i didn't notice was the same lovely girl just a little lower.

Could you not see the obvious when it's right in your face?
Could you not see the smile when covered by colours & lace.
Could you not spare a lil more time when your life's in a haste?
Could you not see the beauty when it is a little out of place.

I look at a photograph and see a bald guy standing,
I look again and see a purple wrist watch gleaming.
What i fail to see was a girl cheekily grinning,
The girl on the left with the best smile beaming.

She reminds me of the little things in life we tend to forget,
She reminds me of the fundamental beauty in life we tend to neglect.
She remains my inspiration when all else fails to attract.
And she lighthens up my day always when i least expect.

If every room in the house is complimented by the furniture,
Is it wrong to say she makes the best background in a picture?
If i'm wrong then i don't wanna be right in the coming future,
Because i don't mind having her in the background of my picture.
